ABOUT ME: I make clothing, cook, look at the stars and follow a semi-nomadic path. I hand dye, screenprint, pattern and sew. It is extremely laborious to create custom fabric. Both the honor I see in the labor and control I have over each step inspire me. Each cloth undergoes dyeing, washing, multiple print processes, steaming, rinsing, pressing and cutting before its sewn. The digitally printed works are made with a fancy inkjet printer that takes high-resolution, digitally created imagery and prints with dye onto yards of pre-treated fabric using a Mimaki TX2 Digital Textile Printer.
